Huátana ties of all shapes and sizes are woven with symbols of a story, representing the journey of our Qhapaq Ñan, or our personal Sacred path. The white beads on the Cinta represent the Chaska’s, or the Stars… our Divine origins and Cosmic Ancestors that guide and protect us on our journey through life.

These beautiful handwoven Huátana ties are traditionally used as ties for your Mesa, and can also be worn as hat bands or bracelets.

This particular Huátana is a rare antique piece.

Antique Huátanas are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Unlike newly woven pieces, these ties have already lived a long life within the ceremonial traditions of the Andes… held, worn, worked with and carried through countless prayers and Ceremonies before finding their way into our hands.

There is something particularly precious about an antique ceremonial piece. Its medicine exists not only within the symbols and stories woven into its threads, but within the life it has already lived… the prayers, offerings, intentions and relationship with the Sacred that it has witnessed and held over many years.

To receive one is to become the next custodian of a Sacred ceremonial piece with a history of its own… carrying its story and medicine forward into your own MESA, Ceremony and lineage.

Each antique Huátana is completely unique and one of a kind.
